I loved your latest Bad Vlog and of course reading about everything here. I have to agree with you about your interpretation and filming Cleo. When I first started watching, of course I knew Abby was bigger than her, but I don’t think I really grasped how small Cleo was. In all the videos I watched she seemed to be good sized, and I was shocked when I saw some of the videos that showed how small she is. 😧 Such an adorable, petite little girl! But I know not to be fooled by those looks because she is street smart! 😁 My son and girlfriend’s Galgo loves going in stores too, his favorite is Joanne’s! Thanks again for sharing all of this with us, I sure do enjoy it! 😊
Here is my Discussion about this post. The thing about this post I wish to discuss is framing strategies w.r.t. dog volume. And the discussion is as follows: PbtS's instinct to frame tight and emphasize the snoots' respective snoots is definitive, and should never be allowed to fall into decline. On the other hand, just as in cinema, an occasional looser establishing shot -- to give, say, a sense of snootness in context -- is also essential to the experience. And, as you suggest, these differences in style register something like a distinction in perception. Meanwhile, the vision of Cleo once again looking forlornly adorable in the bathtub makes me (almost) wish that the greyhounds had more fur and afforded more scope for damp comedy. Not that they *ever* need to be bathed, of course, because they are self-cleaning and perfect -- at least according to them. The carpets and couches may not concur.
Can we just talk about that gorgeous insect-themed living room rug? 😍 🤩Where is it from?
Thank you!! It’s from Ruggable, it’s the Iris Apfel Flutterby Rug!
Thanks!
The assless chaps! SO B&D! 😂

Ooooh Abby has never been to Joanne’s, maybe we need to take her!
Yes, before they are all closed! 😞
and thank you for showcasing adoptable pups! 🙏❤️
Further Discussion: Misapprehensions of Cleo's scale remind me of A.A. Milne's Tigger:
Whatever his weight in pounds, shillings, and ounces,
he always seems bigger because of his bounces.

Those chaps are sooo cute. No matter who films Cleo she’s the bestest.
