Thank you so much for all the information and the update. I know it might seem weird to you, but there are so many of us that have grown to love these girls that we really do like to hear all about them. I, along with others I’m sure, have been worried about Abby adjusting. I cannot believe she has not brought a toy to her father. That’s shocking to me. I know that she will adjust. I just hope it’s soon. The pictures are wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing your life with these girls with all of us. They make me smile every day. And your narration makes me laugh. ☺️

I think because we went to Maine for three weeks we totally threw off Abby’s schedule because she didn’t bring her dad a toy at all in Maine or the week we were home before we got Marcy. So hopefully it’s just because she’s still adjusting to all the changes!! She has been getting sassier with each day which means she’s getting back to herself and not stressing about Marcy being around. Abby has always been slow to accept change so we really feel like after a few months everything will be back to normal again!

I don't know if I could ever handle a puppy! That's why I adopt retired greyhounds. LOL. But man are they ever cute! I love seeing photos of your lil landshark Marcy with Cleo and Abby. Thanks for your honesty too in stating the obvious for others: puppies are HARD. If you are getting a purebred dog, do your research on the breed first! Looking forward to watching this cute nerd continue to grow. :)

Thank you so much for this update!! I have been worried about Abby. I can tell that Cleo is adjusting but I don’t want Abby to be left out. Please keep the updates coming!

One thing I’m dying to know is how you get those dogs clean after running outside in the mud - how do you keep them from destroying your car and house?!

Luckily borzoi and silken coats are INCREDIBLE and mud usually dries and falls right out, so if anything our cars and home are a little dusty 😅 noodle dad’s car has definitely seen better days but I have a car seat cover and that is so easy to wipe out as needed! When the mud is too much or too stinky we do a straight beeline to the bathtub with the dogs! Abby always goes first and Cleo usually sunbathes outside until it’s her turn. We shall see how the process evolves with three 😂

But her tail, though! But her ears, though! I hope Abby comes around soon. For all of your sakes. Praise be the snoots. Love them all, and you and Abby's dad! 🩷🩷🩷

So excited for the new addition!! Marcy kinda looks like a skinny Belgian Malinois puppy. I just love her little black face and floppy ears! Congrats!

I’m DYING from cuteness and melancholy overload! I love reading this update—you’re so good at sharing both the highs and lows with entertaining descriptions. And the patience and grace you’re giving your girls comes through. As hard as it can be to see Abby have to deal with change, it sounds like she’s being mature about it: removing herself and ignoring Marcy is healthier than getting aggressive! Thank you for giving us the low-down on the breeds and puppy-dom. Hang in there—as I read I felt there really couldn’t be better people to parent these dogs. You give them such a beautiful life—it’s inspiring and a joy to behold.
